about this album:

This is a collection of homemade music that I wrote in my living room, played many times with friends in my living room, and recorded (almost all of it) in my living room. The sing-songs are about family, home, & feeling bummed out sometimes. The instrumental music is a cross-section of different jazzy vibes I've been into lately. I hope to bring listeners joy, comfort, fun weirdness, imagination, and all around good vibes with this music.

fun facts:

-"Many Thanks" was written with Jessica Li to say thank you to our family & friends for making our wedding feel so special with all of their love & support.

-"For Soft Mornings & Quiet Nights" was composed on piano & paper in 2013 on a cold morning in Ephraim, Utah.

-”The Night Cleaner” was written for a film by Zoe Ward. The melody was actually (kind of) whistled by the janitor and Luke and I adapted it into the tune you hear.

-the 2nd sunset in "From One Sunset To Another" is also heard on Booker Stardrum's song "Five Finger Cloud"

"Triumphant Findings" is like you are in a video game and the bassoon is the main character in a forest. At 2:08, it's like the bassoon opens a secret door on the floor and steps inside a new room that's a totally different dreamy environment.
