Days of my life have gone

I'm turning a page, settle old ways for nighttime is closing all doors shut
Glad I kept a book
Later I can look at every scribbled word I have forgotten

It's not that I think the words are all good
I'm into documenting
I'd love a poem from you
Anything will do to include
prelude, manuscript

I will be reminded of the look in your eyes when we realize we had forgotten sugar in the cookies we made for our new neighbors next door
